About Me.
After completing my Master’s degree at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities, I spent the first several years of my career at St. David’s Center for Child and Family Development in Minnetonka, MN. It was there that I developed her skills and knowledge by providing services to a culturally and diagnostically diverse pediatric population. Within the facility I treated in the outpatient clinic, multidisciplinary Autism Day Treatment (ADT) program, early childhood education (ECE) classrooms and social skills groups. In 2020, I was promoted to Clinical Supervisor of a team of eleven speech therapists.
My specialties include working with children across the Autism spectrum, ADHD and executive functioning, and childhood apraxia of speech. I hold extra training and certifications in the use of augmentative and alternative communication devices (AAC) and programs, the Social Thinking Curriculum, and I am a certified Greenspan Floortime Level-II practitioner. In the past two years, I have invested time and education in Gestalt Language Processing (GLP).
I have been in Montana since 2022 and in 2023 I started my private practice, Ascent Pediatric Speech Therapy. Through Ascent, I contract with the Gallatin-Madison Special Education Cooperative, collaborate with several daycares and Montessori schools, and spend time in families' homes to provide services.
